Welcome to our new look! You no longer have to guess at just what in the world is going on. After several years the old website just became boring to look at. Hopefully this new look is both pleasing and just as easy to navigate through as the old site. The guestbook may come back at a later date but not until some further safeguards are put in place to deal with the occasional inappropriate activity that appears there. It just takes too much time to police.

Since this new look happens to fall at the same time as the beginning of a new Sting season, I would also like to take a moment to encourage coaches, players and parents to submit their own off-beat stories about life on the road at Sting. Appropriate articles, photographs and side-notes are always welcomed.

I hope you enjoy the new look!

Whew!

A huge THANK YOU goes out to all of the athletes that took part in the Sting tryouts these last two weekends (and weekdays for the extra-little ones). It sounds cliche but it's true. Every year the decisions become more and more difficult as the athletes keep getting better and better. It's not a bad thing of course. It means our region is becoming stronger and that's always a good thing. Of course all offers were given out by the end of Saturday but that's not to say things won't change. They always do at this level or that level.

Now it's just a waiting game to finalize the teams. In the meantime we would like to wish everyone the best of luck with their upcoming seasons. Whether you will be playing with Milwaukee Sting or not, it doesn't matter. Just so long as you are playing. This is a great sport and as painful as tryouts are for everyone involved, we are all in the gym with one very common reason. We all love the game.

Thank you again, athletes. The days were long but worth it. It's our hope that you thought so as well.
